The Semiannual IEEE-Tech Golf Classic occurs once every semester and is the flagship event of IEEE-Tech! This gathering of students, faculty and Industry friends is a perfect reflection of what the Engineering Technology Department of Texas A&M University represents: FAMILY.
The IEEE-Tech Golf Classic serves not only as a retreat out on the golf links, but as an invaluable tool both Industry and Academia utilize to intermingle with each other. In order to foster relationships between students and Industry, IEEE-Tech provides the opportunity for three students to join a team sponsored by an invited member of Industry.
Whether a hole in one or a future internship, the product of a day of golf may lead to opportunity all can be excited about!
Golf Classic format is "scramble" with teams of 4 (3 students and 1 Industry representative). Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and winners of the "Closest to the Pin" and "Longest Drive" contests.
Be on the look out for sign-ups! See any IEEE-Tech officer in the parts store.
Price is $25 for IEEE-Tech Members and $40 for non-members
